SPELLING AND ALPHABETIZATION
In this area, the scientific committee set up by the community has completed the xwela spelling guide and will soon begin the syllabary and transition guide. Several activities are also underway: start literacy, design a xwela calendar for 2025, start transcribing the book of Luke, and the recorded xwela tales and proverbs

THE TRANSLATION
Here, the translation team does the oral translation of the Bible. The team is therefore composed of four translators and one exegete. Since 2023, translation activities have started. The 79 series of the book of Luke are already fully translated, peer reviewed, checked with the community, re-translated, approved by the counselor and distributed to the community. The 70 series of the book of the Acts of the Apostles are already fully translated, revised by the pairs, checked with the community, re-translated but not yet approved by the counselor. THE IMPACT OF THE HOLY SCRIPTURES
In this area, the translation team shares the approved series with the community and organizes in-line and face-to-face listening sessions in order to make the series listened to by the community.
Series are shared through various channels: WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube, memory cards and keys; and soon on radios
Several face-to-face listening groups have been created within the churches. Community members are really touched by the word
Two songs with two approved series are being composed as well as two activities: a day of reflection on the importance of mother tongues in the development of a community and an evening of entertainment (storytelling, proverbs and sketches with approuved series to impact the community

PUBLIC RELATIONS (VISITING CHURCHES, VISITING LOCAL AUTHORITIES, ETC.)

SPIRITUAL LIFE
This area addresses the spiritual life of the translation team. Two spiritual retreats are organized. One between translators and the other between translation project and members of the Association's Board of Directors. Monthly prayer sessions are held every first Monday of each month with the community. Monthly prayer bulletins are sent to churches, the translation team prays and meditates on the word of God every morning before the start of activities. She also performs youth and prayer on the last Fridays of the month
